    Dream 12 days tour from Tangier

    Day 1: Arrival in Tangier

    Welcome to Morocco! Your adventure begins upon arrival in Tangier. Our driver/guide will meet you at the port or airport and transfer you to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure to settle in.


    Day 2: Tangier →  Tetouan →   Chefchaouen

    Journey towards the charming blue city of Chefchaouen, traveling via Tetouan and through scenic traditional Jbala villages in the Rif Mountains. Upon arrival in Chefchaouen, explore its unique medina, main square (Plaza Uta el-Hammam), and soak in the relaxed atmosphere.


    Day 3: Chefchaouen →   Volubilis →  Meknes →  Fes

    Depart Chefchaouen towards Fez. First, visit the impressive ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis (UNESCO World Heritage). Continue to the imperial city of Meknes for a tour of its key historical landmarks, such as the grand Bab Mansour gate. Proceed to Fez for your overnight stay.


    Day 4: Guided tour of Fes

    Dedicate today to a guided exploration of Fez’s vast, ancient medina (Fes el-Bali – UNESCO World Heritage). Navigate narrow alleyways, discover vibrant souks, and visit key sites like the Bou Inania Madrasa, Nejjarine Fountain, the famous Tanneries, and glimpse the Royal Palace gates. Enjoy lunch within the medina before returning to your accommodation.


    Day 5: Fez →  Azrou cadar forest →  Merzouga

    Depart early, traveling south towards the Sahara Desert via the Middle Atlas Mountains. Journey through scenic cedar forests near Azrou (watch for Barbary apes) and pass through Ifrane. Stop for lunch in Midelt. Continue along the picturesque Ziz Valley gorge. Upon arrival in Merzouga, prepare for a camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes to witness the sunset. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in a traditional desert camp.


    Day 6: Merzouga Desert Exploration

    After breakfast at the camp, embark on a 4×4 desert exploration around Merzouga. Discover local oases, visit nomadic families to learn about their lifestyle, and experience traditional Gnaoua music in Khamlia village. Return to your camp or accommodation near the dunes for the evening.


    Day 7: Merzouga →  Rissani →  Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

    Witness the desert sunrise this morning. After breakfast, depart towards the Dades Valley. Stop in Rissani to potentially visit its traditional souk (market days vary). Continue to the impressive Todra Gorges for a walk through the high canyon walls. Proceed to the Dades Valley, renowned for its stunning rock formations. Overnight in a local Riad/hotel.


    Day 8: Dades valley →  Ait Ben Haddou →  Marrakech

    Travel from the Dades Valley towards Marrakech, journeying via Ouarzazate along the ‘Road of a Thousand Kasbahs’. Visit the renowned Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah (UNESCO World Heritage), a spectacular fortified village and backdrop for many films. After exploring the Ksar and having lunch nearby, cross the dramatic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2260m). Arrive in Marrakech for your overnight stay in a Riad.


    Day 9: Marrakech to Essaouira and back
